Course Description

Sports Medicine I / Athletic Training course provides an opportunity to students who are interested in a medical profession/sports related field of study to learn the essential knowledge and skills required of healthcare providers. The components of the course include basic anatomy and physiology, injury recognition, injury management, and injury prevention techniques for sports injuries. Practical application of content and technical skills will also be learned in the classroom. 
Virtual Office Hours: 8am - 4pm
Assignment for the week of March 30th - April 3rd.
  • Read the Anatomy of the Elbow and complete the Review Questions on page 2.
  • Read/Review the Anatomy of the Wrist and Hand and complete the worksheet (Labeling Bones of the Wrist and Hand).
