English II AP-Period 3 Assignments

You will be responsible for any reading during your absence. You may listen to the link provided and follow along on the PDF attached in the materials folder.

Millions of people visit zoos around the world, but some people believe that zoos are inhumane and that animals should not be kept in captivity. Do you agree? Why, or why not? Use specific reasons and examples to support your position.

Children all over the world have had their education severely disrupted this year, as schools struggle to cope with repeated closures and re-openings, and the transition, when it was an option, to online schooling.

Many feel that some of the consequences related to Covid and school closures include loss of learning and higher drop out rates, increased violence against children, teen pregnancies and early marriages.
