1. Design your own creature for a shadow puppet. You may use the template and add to it or create your own.
2. Thick paper, like cardstock works best, but use what you have available.
3. It does not have to move/have body parts attached with brads, it can be a one-piece creature.
4. In a dark room, get a light source such as a lamp or flashlight and experiment with making shadows with your creature.
5. Send a picture of your creature.

Gather a few food items that can be heated easily in an oven/toaster oven (Such as chocolate, marshmallows, gummi bears, butter, etc.). Observe the properties of the item before adding heat (its texture, shape, color, temperature, or size). (
Next put in oven for a few minutes. Watch for changes. Take items out after a while and look for changes caused by adding heat.
In the comments, please let me know what item you were able to observe and how it changed.
*You can toast a piece of bread in a regular toaster or put butter/margarine in the microwave if you don't have other items available.
