We are making DNA bracelets!
roll a die to decide to see which sequence you get, 1. chimp, 2. trout, 3. human. 4. butterfly.... etc. follow the directions to make your DNA bracelet. write your sequence and compliment on pg 43 of your notebook.

read the Student Guide then answer the Journal part 2 questions except #6. #2 upper sequence is GATTACATAGC fill in the lower complementary strand using Base-pairing rules. Complete the base Paring WS by writing the completing the complementary strand (#1-5). DNA Base-Pairs WS Part A complete the complementary strand. Then in Part B use the same codes for strand 1, 2, and 3, and color, (according to instructions )#1, but draw shapes AND color #2 and #3.
