Christmas Trees Donated to NDHS by Sutherlands

After losing all the school’s holiday decorations in last year’s flood, Mrs. Kim Upchurch reached out to Sutherlands, and they kindly donated the high school two Christmas trees. A few of the senior boys put the trees up, and they look great! Kyler Reed exclaimed, “Wow, that really got me in the Christmas spirit!” Along with putting up trees, Brooklyn Brewer and Angelica Pantoja got creative and made their own ornaments with shrinkadinks. “Making shrink-a-dinks was so much fun and honestly very therapeutic because of my love for drawing,” said Angelica Pantoja. Many students and teachers walk through the high school and get an extra taste of that Christmas cheer. The trees and decorations make it really feel like Christmas! Kayton Trevey said, “Walking through the hallways and seeing all of the Christmas spirit brings joy to my day.”
