Posts vs Assignments

Have you been looking at someone else's page and wondering how they got their posts to look so good? Did they post something to all of their classes and their personal page, but you swear they only uploaded it once? How is this even possible?

One word.

Posts.

Posts allow you to quickly post information and resources on your personal pages and class pages. They can be posted to multiple pages at the same time or only to one specific page. Posts don't expire or have due dates, so these are great for posting resources, links, videos, or even posting previous assignments.

The two big differences between posts and assignments (besides how they look of course) are these:
1. Posts can be posted to both your Personal Page & Class Page at the same time. This is GREAT for people who have accidentally only subscribed to your personal page (see more info on why that's important here). Assignments only post to your class page & will not appear on your personal page.
2. Assignments have due dates. Due dates will help out with your subscribers. Subscribers are notified when you post the assignment, 8 days before it is due, and the day before, all without you having to re-post or remind anyone.

There is so much more info about posts, but I encourage you to play around with them and see what all you can find (for example, posting links adds the links to your personal page's site navigation...).
